This is the hat that I posted about. I finished it a few weeks ago, but haven't gotten to wear it because of the summer weather. It was knitted on 10.5 inch circulars/double points with Lamb's Pride Brown Sheep yarn. It was my first experience with dpns, and it wasn't too bad. I'm ready to wear my hat this winter!
For some reason, the top looks a little weird in this picture. I'm not sure why, because my seams turned out really even and pretty.

First post, and hat issues
So I've started this journal to be my knitting blog, where I'll keep track of what I'm knitting, what I've finished, and pictures of everything. My first knitting project was a scarf, but I haven't taken pictures of it. Actually, I haven't totally finished it. After my scarf I made a hat. Here's what happened the first time...I didn't realize what could happen if you weren't careful!
That lovely twist isn't supposed to be there, of course. It's called a Mobius strip. If you follow it around, there's never a seam or an edge, just one continuous line...or something like that. Anyway, it's not a good thing if you want to make a hat!
